Empower Youth and Families with Comprehensive Wraparound Training

Join us for the Impact Makers: Foundational Training for Wraparound YSS, designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to support youth and families effectively. This training covers the principles, phases, and components of the Wraparound process, ensuring you understand how to provide individualized, family-driven, and culturally responsive planning.

This training is required for all WYSS and will also be open to other Wraparound provider role types to deepen system-wide understanding of the Youth Support Specialist’s role in Wraparound.

Key Training Objectives:

• Understanding the Wraparound Process: Learn the core principles and phases of the Wraparound model.

• Youth Support Specialist Role: Focus on advocacy and peer support, understanding your responsibilities.

• Building Effective Relationships: Develop trust and improve communication skills with youth and families.

• Cultural Responsivity: Gain insights into cultural, racial, and socioeconomic factors affecting youth.

• Youth Empowerment: Equip youth with tools for self-advocacy and goal setting.

• Crisis & Safety Planning: Gain an understanding of the role of crisis in the Wraparound program
