Grief is a complex and sensitive topic. In this workshop, you will gain insights into supporting young people through the process of grief and ambiguous loss. Together, we'll explore the different forms grief may take at various stages of youth development. By the end of this workshop, you will have actionable strategies to support youth that are grounded within the principles of peer support.

  • Identity developmental responses to grief

  • Contradict common myths about grief

  • Define ambiguous loss and how it may present within Wraparound

  • Utilize practical support strategies when working with youth experiencing grief, in its many forms
