Set the foundation for meaningful, lasting youth engagement in Wraparound. This interactive 1.5-hour, coaching-oriented workshop is designed specifically for Youth Support Specialists in Wraparound. Through active participation and peer-to-peer learning, participants will explore why initial engagement matters and how to make it count. The session focuses on youth-friendly, relationship-centered strategies that help young people better understand Wraparound, feel valued from the beginning, and stay engaged over time.

  • Describe the significance of successful youth introduction to Wraparound 

  • Identify long-term impacts of introduction to Wraparound outcomes

  • Apply practical peer support strategies for introducing youth to Wraparound

  • Devise youth-friendly translations of common Wraparound terminology 

  • Propose strategies to support youth comfort in Wraparound.

This workshop provides 1.5 continuing education credits for Traditional Health Workers upon completion! ✨
