Youth Engagement: Building Meaningful, Authentic Relationships
This 1.5 hour coaching workshop is designed for Wraparound Youth Peer Support Specialists and Youth Support Specialists looking to strengthen their ability to engage meaningfully with young people and their families. Through discussions, participants will explore practical ways to build trust and form authentic relationships. The session also covers strategies for helping youth and families navigate systems and connect with the right supports—while learning how to advocate effectively for their needs. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the principles of Positive Youth Development, a strengths-based framework that emphasizes youth voice, potential, and empowerment.This session offers 1.5 continuing education credits for Traditional Health Workers—and doubles as a group coaching opportunity.
