This engaging 1.5-hour workshop warmly invites Wraparound Youth Peer Support Specialists to explore the systems and social conditions that influence the lives of the youth they work with. We’ll introduce the key child-serving systems in Oregon and discuss how they support young people and their families. Participants will also have the chance to learn about Social Determinants of Health and consider how these factors can affect access to care and long-term outcomes. Additionally, the workshop will shine a light on the broader societal forces shaping the experiences of youth in Wraparound. This space is created to foster reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of the world youth are navigating. This session offers 1.5 continuing education credits for Traditional Health Workers—and doubles as a group coaching opportunity.
