Energizing Engagement: Supporting Disengaged Youth in Wraparound

Energizing Engagement: Supporting Disengaged Youth in Wraparound
Join us on August 4th at 9:30 for an intensive skill-building workshop!
🌟Time to get energized!🌟
Ever faced a challenge in engaging a youth in a Wraparound meeting, 1:1, or communication? Well, you are in the right place, and this training is just for you! 🌟 Get energized for Energizing Engagement- a Youth Era training.
In this 4-hour deep dive into the understory of engagement, we will embark on a journey of recognizing disengagement through the lens of emotional dysregulation. When we are in survival mode, it’s hard for us to engage. Let’s explore the root of disengagement together.
On that note! This will be an engagement-heavy workshop. Our goal is to strengthen the workforce through discussion, activities, and reflection. 💓
Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to…
Define disengagement and recognize its presentations in the Wraparound process.
Acknowledge the underlying factors to disengagement.
Utilize strategies for engagement that are supportive, promote autonomy, target the root of disengagement, and are trauma-informed.
Challenge systemic barriers that inhibit underlying needs.
Integrate this knowledge into practice.
This workshop provides 4 continuing education credits for Traditional Health Workers upon completion! ✨
