GROUP COORDINATOR | MARION COUNTY

Caitlin grew up in Bakersfield, California. She’s had a strong love for horseback riding since she was a child and continues that passion to this day. After high school, she enrolled at California State Polytechnic University, where she studied Hospitality Management. Her first year of college was rough; she struggled with the transition and had her first experiences with anxiety. After overcoming challenges with her undergraduate education, she worked with Marriott and Ritz Carlton for three years. Caitlin decided to pursue a career in non-profit and social work, and currently, she is working toward her Master's in Social Work with Simmons College.

Caitlin has worked with Youth Era (YE) since May of 2017. Previously, she served at the Program Manager for the Coos Drop. It was incredible to be a part of opening a drop-in center in North Bend, and Coos County will always have a place in Caitlin's heart. In January of 2019, Caitlin moved to Salem, where she currently works as the Group Coordinator at the Salem Drop. She has enjoyed experiencing multiple Oregon cities through her work with YE and is now excited to be supporting youth and young adults in her new position.

In her free time, Caitlin can be found riding horses, floating Oregon rivers, collecting vinyl records, or exploring the beautiful Oregon coastline.
